For the Metro Manila area, the Philippine Government has extended a heightened General Community Quarantine (GCQ) until August 5, 2021, and has imposed an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) effective August 6 until August 20, 2021.

The Government of the Philippines recently announced quarantine classifications for the month of August. Other quarantine classifications are still in effect through July 31, 2021.

Following the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) to prevent the spread of the more infectious Delta coronavirus variant, Metro Manila will be placed under the most restrictive enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20. From July 30 to August 5, the heightened restrictions for NCR are more stringent compared to the GCQ with heightened restrictions of other areas.

The Philippine government’s travel ban on travelers from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand is extended through August 15, 2021.

Below are the current quarantine classifications according to the Philippine government:

Reminder for travelers from Metro Manila (NCR Plus) - The following heightened restrictions shall be strictly observed and implemented until May 31, 2021:

Only essential travel into and out of the NCR Plus shall be allowed (IATF Resolution 115-A).
Leisure travels shall be prohibited into and out of NCR Plus during the said period.
Persons with comorbidities shall not be allowed to enter Boracay Island
Port of entry of tourists to Boracay Island will only be MPH
LSI, ROF, and APOR travelling by air shall only go through KLO.

Requirements

Negative RT-PCR Test Result or Saliva based RT-PCR Test Result not exceeding three (3) days from the time of extraction to date of travel provided that only those test result processed by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) or laboratories accredited by both Department of Health (DOH) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Exemption: children aged two (2) years and below
Confirmed booking from DOT-accredited establishments
Register online as tourist for the Health Declaration Card with QR code available on: aklan.gov.ph or touristboracay.com. The QR code is a mandatory pre-boarding requirement. NO QR CODE, NO ACCEPTANCE
REMINDER: The Tourist QR Code has an expiry of twelve (12) hours from the checkout time. If pax is extending their stay in Boracay Island, they should send an email of a new booking slip showing the extension to [email protected] before their original checkout time.
