Canada has lifted COVID-19 travel restrictions for entry, regardless of citizenship. The following will no longer be required:
- Submission of travel and health documents through the ArriveCAN app
- Proof of vaccination
- RT-PCR testing
- COVID-19 related quarantine or isolation
However, to ensure a safe and clean environment for all our travelers, Philippine Airlines still recommends wearing of face masks at the airport and throughout the flight as required by select destinations.

For your convenience, you can choose when to have your swab test taken:
Morning Schedule (Same day results release):
- Early Morning Swab: 12AM to 4AM
- Morning Swab: 5AM to 11AM

Afternoon/Evening (10-12 hours results):

Travel Advisory

Update on Canada travel requirements effective October 1

For our valued passengers traveling to Canada:

The Government of Canada has lifted all COVID-19 border requirements for all travelers, regardless of citizenship, whether entering by land, air, or sea.

Thus, effective from October 1, Canada will no longer require the following:
• Public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website;
• Proof of vaccination;
• Pre-arrival or on-arrival testing;
• COVID-19 related quarantine or isolation; and
• Monitoring and reporting of COVID-19 signs or symptoms upon arriving in Canada.
The removal of these requirements reflects Canada’s high vaccination rates, capability to surpass the peak of the Omicron wave, the availability and use of vaccine boosters, and lower hospitalization and death rates.
All travelers are highly encouraged to still wear face masks during their trips to further prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you get sick while traveling and upon arrival in Canada, please advise a flight attendant or airline personnel, so that you can be referred to a quarantine officer to decide on further medical assessment.
