LOOK: CAAP Operations Status Report 290 on Philippine Air Traffic Activity under the COVID-19 Code Red Sublevel 2

On January 4, 310 commercial flights were recorded by CAAP as it maintains operability under the provisions of the Modified General Community Quarantine and General Community Quarantine.

42 sweeper flights or special flights, which catered to a total of 2,591 passengers, were mounted to transport stranded passengers.

Meanwhile, continued service for cargo flights has been carried out, with 52 cargo flights being completed, in order to ensure that transport of goods is sustained.

Beginning January 9, 2021, Philippine Airlines will fly daily between Manila and Iloilo.

For Iloilo-bound passengers, please take note of the following:

* Iloilo City residents may take any of the daily Manila-Iloilo flights.

* Iloilo Province residents will be accommodated every Monday (25 passengers per flight), Wednesday (75 passengers per flight), and Friday (25 passengers per flight).

* Guimaras Province residents will be accommodated every Friday (5 passengers per flight)

RIATF Region VI Resolution No. 001 Series of 2021 has suspended the entry of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) from entering Iloilo City from January 8, 2021 until January 21, 2021.

There are no passenger restrictions on Iloilo to Manila flights.

Please note that moratoriums are sometimes imposed by the Local Government Units (LGUs). Passengers are therefore advised to contact respective LGUs for clarifications.

LOOK: List of airports with LGUs that allow commercial flights

As of today, 15 June, there are 25 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have allowed* the commercial operation of flights.

Meanwhile, 7 airports are set to start accepting commercial flights on later dates.

*Some airports, while allowing commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.

Cebu Pacific will mount flights to the following destinations tomorrow, June 3, 2020:

Manila-General Santos-Manila
Manila-Naga-Manila
Manila-Cagayan de Oro-Manila

Leisure travel is not allowed, as per government guidelines. Guests must check with the local governments of their origin and destination for the required documents.

Daily updates will be provided on our flight schedule through our website and official social media accounts. We are working with the IATF, as well as other national and local government authorities so we can gradually build-up our domestic flight network. As this is a developing situation, flight schedules may change depending on quarantine conditions and travel restrictions.

📣 LATEST UPDATE FROM NAIA
For your INFORMATION✈️
♦️MGA alituntunin kung sino man po ang pauwi sa Pinas.
♦️“New Normal” from NAIA website. We will now be required to pay for a Covid Test (P3500) upon arrival to the Philippines and be subjected to quarantine for 3 to 5 days to a hotel that we will need to pay for until the results come in???
♦️ALL arriving passengers are required to go thru the RT-PCR test.
✅For OFWs, PhilHealth will pay . RT-PCR Test cost 3,500. For Non-OFW at their own expense. But if they are a PhilHealth member, they can charge it as long as they have PhilHealth membership number then fill up it to the form for swabbing. Thank you .
✅From NAIA, OFW will be brought to a Govt designated quarantine facility. For non-OFWs, to a hotel of their choice, at their own expense. They will wait for 3-4 days until results come out.
✅If test results is positive, passengers will be pick up by the Bureau of Quarantine who shall assume jurisdiction monitoring them. If test results is negative, Quarantine will issue a certificate stating that person tested NEGATIVE in the PCR test.
✅For those who tested negative and has been issued a certificate, they can leave hotel and go home to their residences.
✅We also refer you to the Department of Transportation - Philippines, they might be able to help you with you regards to the possible transportation.
