In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister and a friend, Satra bint Habib Hassan, the esteemed owner of Ummi's Kitchen. On June 12, 2023, she departed from this worldly life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be remembered.

We beseech Allah, the Most High, to bestow His infinite mercy upon our dear Ummi and grant her forgiveness for any shortcomings she may have had. O Allah, in Your boundless mercy, elevate her station among the guided and righteous souls who have preceded us. May she be blessed with the companionship of the pious and the righteous in the eternal abode.

We implore Allah to shower His mercy upon her and grant her tranquility and peace in the abode of the righteous. O Lord, illuminate her grave with Your divine light and expand it to grant her comfort and solace. May her final resting place be a sanctuary of peace and serenity.

O Allah, we ask for Your forgiveness for Ummi and for all of us. Forgive any mistakes or wrongdoings she may have committed during her lifetime and accept her good deeds with utmost generosity. O Lord of the worlds, encompass her with Your infinite mercy and grant her eternal bliss in Paradise.

We, her family, friends, and community, mourn her loss deeply and pray for her well-being in the Hereafter. May her legacy continue to inspire us to embody the kindness, generosity, and love she exemplified in her lifetime. May we follow in her footsteps, striving to leave a positive impact on the world, just as she did.

Allahumma Ameen.

Surely, to Allah we belong, and to Him, we shall return.
