Travelers, farmers, migrants, traders, students, invaders, masters and disciples, saints and missionaries almost from every corner of world reached the areas which currently constitute Pakistan through a journey from pre-historic to present times.
The racial blend spread over the centuries divide the country’s inhabitants into numerous ethnic groups with their own distinct sub-cultures, these groups include the Punjabis, Saraikis, Pothwaris, Kashmiris, Sindhis in east, Makrani in the south; Baloch, Hazaras and Pashtuns in the west; and the Dards, Wakhi, Baltis, Shinaki and Burusho communities in the north.
