12-member team of young Shimshali climbers summit the unclimbed Passu Cones (6,106m).

The team includes two young girls.

The team had earlier planned to scale the peak on Pakistan's Independence Day - 14th August. According to sources, the weather forecast has forced the team to summit the peak today.
