ہسپانوی سیاح پونس رومن اور ان کے دو ساتھی اسپین سے پیدل چل کر نگر پہنچ گئے۔ ان کو اس طویل سفر میں 15 ماہ لگ گئے۔

Marsur Rock located at an altitude of 3600m , garnered significant attention regarding its uncanny resemblance to the famous Trolltunga in Norway. This rock can also be called the ‘Birds eye viewpoint of Skardu.’

The panoramic view from and around the rock is nothing short of spectacular, encompassing the Indus River, Skardu City, Hussainabad, the Cold Desert, and Kharphocho Forts, all within a single frame.

The road ascends with numerous zigzags, eventually leading you to lush, grassy area of Broq valley which is the starting point if the trek . From there, will take you through dry, rocky terrain as you ascend to a higher point challenging and affecting your pace
It’s a constant steep uphill journey that will take an average of 4hours to reach to the highest point
It took us 2 hours to reach Masrur Rock and 30 min to descend back to Broq meadows
It was an overwhelming journey and an unexpected adventure😀🙌🙌

گلگت سے شندور تک سڑک پر کام شروع ہو چکا ہے جسے غذر ایکسپریس وے بھی کہا جاتا ہے اور آنے والے سالوں میں مکمل ہونے کی امید ہے۔ غذر ایکسپریس وے کے مکمل ہونے کے بعد، اس سے ملکی اور بین الاقوامی سیاحوں کی ایک قابل ذکر تعداد کو راغب کرنے کی توقع ہے، اس طرح خطے میں سیاحت کی صنعت کو فروغ ملے گا۔ تاہم سیاحت میں تیزی سے اضافہ قدرتی ماحول پر مثبت اور منفی دونوں اثرات مرتب کر سکتا ہے اگر بروقت مناسب اقدامات نہ کیے گئے۔

حالیہ برسوں میں، گلگت بلتستان میں غیر منصوبہ بند تعمیرات کا ایک رجحان رہا ہے، جس میں سیوریج کے مناسب نظام کے بغیر عمارتیں کھڑی کی جا رہی ہیں اور ماحولیات کے حوالے سے مواد کے انتخاب کا خیال نہ رکھا جانا، بلڈنگ کوڈز، ضوابط، ضوابط کی کمی کی وجہ سے ہوا ہے۔ وغیرہ

مقامی ماحول کے تناظر میں کنکریٹ کے ڈھانچے کو زیادہ مناسب مواد پر ترجیح دینے کا یہ رجحان خاص طور پر ہنزہ، گلگت اور اسکردو جیسے شہروں میں نمایاں ہے۔ اس بات کا خطرہ ہے کہ اگر اس رجحان کو روکا نہ گیا تو غیزر کو بھی اسی طرح کی قسمت کا سامنا کرنا پڑ سکتا ہے۔

گھیزر کو کنکریٹ کے ڈھانچے سے مغلوب ہونے سے روکنے اور اس کی قدرتی خوبصورتی کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے مقامی تنظیموں، متعلقہ حکومتی اداروں اور کمیونٹی رہنماؤں کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ وہ بروقت کارروائی کریں۔ اس میں تعمیرات اور زمین کے استعمال پر سخت ضابطوں کا نفاذ، سیاحت کے پائیدار طریقوں کو فروغ دینا، اور ایسے بنیادی ڈھانچے میں سرمایہ کاری شامل ہو سکتی ہے جو ماحولیاتی اثرات کو کم سے کم کرے۔ مل کر کام کرنے سے، اسٹیک ہولڈرز اس بات کو یقینی بنا سکتے ہیں کہ گھیزر ترقی اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے درمیان توازن قائم کرے۔

غذر چترال ایکسپریس وے پر میٹلنگ کا کام شروع ہوگیا گلگت ہنزل سیکشن پر تعمیراتی کمپنی آر اے ڈی سی نے تارکول بچھانے کا آغاز کردیا روڑ پر میٹلنگ کا کام شروع ہونے کے بعد غذر چترال روڑ پر سفر کرنے والے سیاحوں اور مسافروں کو سفر کے دوران آسانی پیدا ہوگی واضح رہے کہ اس وقت غذر چترال روڑ گاہکوچ سیکشن پر بھی فلنگ کا کام جاری ہے آئندہ چند دنوں میں گاہکوچ سے گلمتی تک 10 کلو میٹر روڑ پر بھی میٹلنگ کا آغاز کردیا جائے گا۔.

Nanga Parbat Basecamp 5th June 2022
I was crazy to go to the Basecamp as it was my 4th visit to fairy meadows. We stayed around 2 hours at the Basecamp. I am in love with all those views, the moment when you leave Nanga Parbat viewpoint and continue trek towards Basecamp, you will feel some kind of detachment from this noisy world ( i did ) . It was peaceful, calm and the views were incredible 😲 😮.

I admired the beauty of the place and thanked Allah to bless me health to go there and experience his creativity. I even cried while hiking the last peak because the views made me cry.
Whenever i travel alone or trek alone i feel more connected with the surroundings and more focused about it 💯.

A group of mbbs students was with me in this trip, knowing i came back to reach the basecamp again after 3 days from Lahore, they were shocked and motivated to reach there too. I was happy almost 16-17 people made it to the basecamp from our trip. Few uncles didn't go beyond beyal camp and one of them called me " Jin'ani" considering my passion for adventure and mountains jis pe muje bilkul gusa nhi aya cuz i m crazy for these mountains ⛰️ 😜

So if you need to have a short hike in Hunza , then this is your option. You can see the distant view of attabad lake, gulmit ,passu cones in the pics . This place is in Gulmit and it's a staircase of around 1655 steps. When i visited there was nobody to give a ticket so we just entered and started hiking following the route. When you reach the top you can either come back to gulmit or descend from kamaris whixh is another village connecting it. I was not having any vehicle to park since i came via local van in Hunza which dropped me to gulmit .

On way back i knew the van will not be coming in the evening so after refreshment i went back to ganish on bike with my friend who's local from there. First we tried to hitchhike but unfortunately i didn't get any good lead for it. As my friend had to go back to sost so i didn't want him to drop me to ganish and go back to sost. But making sure i reach my hotel safely he dropped me and was very kind to me. Such people really motivate me to travel out of my comfort zone. I am really thakful to this friend !! It was an aweosme journey travelling in little cold wearing jacket and helmet on bike on kkh. Simply loving ❤️

Darkut pass 4700m and the History
Hindu Raj mountain pass, located in the northern anchoring Hindu Raj mountain ranges of Pakistan and marking boundary between Upper chitral and Yasin valley of Gilgit Baltistan. Got its name from the foot village Darkut valley, the last village of Yasin valley Ghizer District Gilgit Baltistan. The trek to Darkut pass starts from Darkut village. It takes 5 hrs of trek to reach the foot Meadows of the pass known as Rawat, the first camping site with the Hot springs below the glacier at the altitude of 3700m one of world highest hot springs. Next day one has to climb up the top of pass at 4700 meters from sea level, where the pass divides into two snowy valleys, the glacier descending down in Northeast direction is known as Zindikharam glacier. Finally the glacier is touching the Chiantar river ( source of Chitral river) after following the river for next 1 km in direction of west you will reach the last village of Broghil valley known as Sakiz Jarab, at 1 km in the north of Sakiz Jarab Darwaza pass is located connecting Pakistan with super Wakhan and is route to little Pamir. The next glacier valley from top of the pass is descending in direction of west to the pass know as darkut Glacier, the glacier is running down and taking you to the Ghikar village of Broghil valley at 500m to the north is Ishkorwaz of Broghil valley, if you take the trek further in north east of ishkorwaz after 1km it will take you back to Sakiz Jarab village. 1 km north west of Sakiz Jarab and 1 km to the north Ishkorwaz on the other side of river bank is Gharil village of Broghil, its the foot village of Broghil pass which is connecting Sarhad village of upper Wakhan of Afghanistan.
