Japan wil be reopening to FIT travellers and liiting entry and visa requirements from Il 0ct, let's hope that my next trip to Japan in November will be very different.
After speaking to tourism stakeholders this past week in lapan. the country is desperate for reopening and international visitors.
And judging by the number of media headlines covering lapan's reopening. there's a huge excitement around reopening. too.
But we need to remember - just because a country reopens its borders doesn't mean that tourists will automatically arrive. Thailand has been open since I July 2021 in one forn or another, and only now is just hitting over I milion arrivals per month.
It's a long way back - but for lapanese tourism players, this must be the best news to wake up to!
