Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi Fifth started building it in 1904, and within a year this masterpiece came into existence. It looks like the resemblance of the Lapur Royal Fort, probably due to the red bricks, 80 windows and four charming domes with white windows and red walls. This beautiful palace is extremely splendid from the interior. It is assumed that this palace was built to build a darbar i.e. for government works, its design is also somewhat similar... Perhaps that is why Nawab Bahawalpur in 1947 destroyed Pakistan's poor economic conditions. Given for governmental works and for use as offices of Pakistan Army, in 1966 this palace came under the control of Pak Army... There was also a white beautiful mosque... because it would have been the official guest house of the state. So here there are two wives named after the women's house and two more palaces. Farukh and Nishat Mahal. Where the video is ending is the current kitchen, the original kitchen was also at the same place. Which certainly won't be his ten-tenth. Where Professor Zubair and I are sitting is either a meeting room or a waiting room, where tea is served is a dining area...the texture of the palace, the lanterns, the taste of the nawabs...everything is a witness to the living past.

Bahawalpur is a magic, which has the ability to shake your senses if you have a sense of feeling inside you.

Babusar Top… adorned in colours of autumn and dusk!

~Is there anything more mesmerizing than watching a glowing ball of fire descend into the horizon, the sky ablaze with brilliant pinks, oranges, and purple in its wake🍁🌅🌅??~

I’ve visited Babusar Pass numerous times during peak summer season often enroute from Balakot to Chilas, and while going back towards Islamabad from Chilas
But this time it was different in terms of time and season

Yes! I crossed this pass in the first week of November that marks the arrival of Autumn and that too during the dusky hours!🍁🌅

It was so calm and serene with hardly one food stall opened at the top and ready to serve us boiled eggs … trust me that was the need of the hour as there weren’t any hotels or stalls opened in the surrounding vicinity at that time.

The entire stretch looked deserted yet beautiful. The clouds that previously appeared on the top of mountains, now surrounded me . Chilly winds were blowing all the time, and while there was remnant of setting sunlight on some sections of the hills, the rest of the rusty coloured grassy meadows were covered by the shadows casted by clouds.

Mesmerized by the deafening silence that prevailed in the entire valley, blown away by the tangerine shades of sunset, enthralled by the spectacular sight of Nanga Parbat (8126m), grooving to the lullaby of melodious chilly winds… every thing seemed to be so tangible and picture perfect! Looking down from the top, you can also see the spectacular (hair pin bend) road twisting and turning through the mountains.
I couldn’t stay there for long due to security reasons, so took all these pictures during the journey and made lifelong memories….memories that will always and forever be etched in my heart🍁♥️

A Tale of perfect Geometry!♥️

These granite peaks rise majestically, decked up with dramatic ridges, sharp spires, and towering cliffs.The immaculately crafted geometrical cones caught my attention through out my entire journey from Sailing valley to Machlu and I just couldn’t stop my self from clicking them as These captivating Peaks offer innumerable views to behold.

You can get exceptional panoramic views of these cones from Saling Valley, Yochung Valley, Machulu Valley, and Haldi Village .

The untouched and pristine nature of the Haldi Cones makes them an ideal destination for someone like me who is always upto seeking remote and unspoiled vistas
