The machinery business has been inherited from their Grandfather Mian Mahboob Elahi, one of the pioneers in Machinery business who started the business in 1952 at Karachi and their father Mr. Tanveer M Elahi running business in the name of Crescent Engineering Company and Crescent Machinery Stores in Machinery Markets of Karachi, Lahore and Hyderabad.
