The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has emphasized that individuals with permanent residency status in the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States are permitted to undertake Umrah without the requirement of obtaining a prior visa. This initiative is intended to streamline the Umrah pilgrimage process, ensure top-notch services, and enrich the cultural and religious experience for pilgrims, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
