We arrived at C4 (8,000 meters above sea level) of Everest at 2 pm and there was only 1 tent for us since it was saturated with climbers who were taking advantage of the second window of good weather, so during the 6 hours of rest we had, 5 people were there packed (our 2 Sherpas, our photographer and us) to leave that same day at 9 pm heading to the summit. It was crazy, the good news is that we were so tired from the climb from C3 to C4 that we were able to rest.Imagine putting 5 people in a tent with 2 people with their backpacks and oxygen tanks.Part of the adventure. The Karakoram mountains have lots of really tall peaks. The tallest one is K2🏔️ which is 8611 meters high. Trekking to K2 base camp was super tiring, especially reaching Urdukas camp at 4011 meters.😯 It took us more than 10 hours of hiking up and down the Baltoro glacier, scrambling over rocks and huge boulders.
