Pineapple is perhaps one of the only fruits that are not grown in Pakistan. Therein lies the crux of our objectives: to present views and ideas that you don’t usually come across, especially in this country. In the same spirit of doing something unconventional for the greater good, The Other Side, an integral part of our magazine, publishes content that makes our readers pause for a moment and pro
vokes a constructive thought process in them. The purpose is to introduce the youth of our country to both sides of the picture, so they can reevaluate their notions and transform their preconceived impressions. However, we also have more reasons to choose Pineapple as our name. Unlike most magazines, we don’t want our audience to be limited to a theme, we want our magazine to be all-in-one in terms of content, something that distinguishes us from most of the other magazines. For this reason, our name, by having no relation to any particular kind of content, gives us the space to include anything which is of meaning to our readers. Other characteristic aspects of our magazine include interviewing people who are inspirational yet not our everyday celebrities, presenting infotainment reviews in a way that makes them standout with those found on the internet and providing our readers with the necessary dose of everyday information through sections like Webtionary. To sum up: enlightenment, entertainment and engagement – Pineapple combines all three.
