The Last Suspension Bridge of the Old Silk Route !!!! Located in Badals District Nagar, this bridge has a great history!!!!!
Before the construction of the Karakoram Highway, traffic and trade continued through this bridge on foot and in pockets from Hunza to Gilgit and from Nagar to Gilgit.
Trade caravans of Muslims from Yarkand Tashkhurgan and Kashgar traveled through this Old Silk Route to subcontinent and Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
They have been traveling to Arabia. ..

ہنزہ سے تعلق رکھنے والی نوجوان صحافی سیما اقبال ھالیہ دونوں ایک گیس سلنڈر حادثے کی وجہ سے شدید زخمی ہوگئی تھی کچھ دنوں سےاسلام آباد کے نجی اسپتال میں زیر علاج تھی ۔
سیما اقبال نے قراقرم انٹرنیشنل یونیورسٹی سے جرنلزم میں بی ایس کیا تھا۔ گلگت بلتستان ایک پڑھی لکھی اور پروفیشنل صحافی سے محروم ہو گیا۔
اللہ پاک اس کی سفر آخرت آسان اور مغفرت فرماٸیں اور لواحقین کو صبر جمیل عطافرماٸیں۔

The safe landing of the first international flight in Skardu marks a historic moment.
This event ushers in a new era of travel possibilities, linking Skardu with the global community.
This milestone will not only boosts tourism but also strengthens connectivity within rest of the world.
The first international flight from Dubai today landed at Skardu Airport with 80 passengers.
The flight from Dubai departed at 4:15 am and successfully landed at Skardu International Airport at 8:45 am.
