What do you this of this??
A cup of chai in her hands,
A window with white frames
But,
Without a beautiful view.
The landscape changed from lush green fields or huge snow covered mountains to just a few broken stairs and a crooked door to the store.
She took a sip of Chai,
Almost choking to it.
See?
The things we love the most can often come out as a deadly threat to our lives.
She thought,
The death is near,
I can feel it in the air.
She gulped down the hot drink in one go and sighed.
" I'm gonna die anyway,
I don't want to die, lying on a bed, covered by 4 white walls."
She pulled out her backpack, keeping a pair of trousers, a couple of shirts that were perfect to hike in the month of june and a warm down jacket incase my body suddenly decided to give up to the icy nights.
She opened her eyes,
The window wasn't white today,
It was rustic blue but it didn't matter because the view beyond made her question her existence.
She was happy, ecstatic infact but her eyes couldn't stop tearing down.
She said, " If I've to die tomorrow, why not live the life I've wanted today because I've wasted enough time pleasing others, Today, I'll just please myself."
And she kept looking at the mountains with a broad smile, this time without tears because she was busy enjoying life than to worry about death in that moment.
