Naseem Shah, the man who snatched victory from the mouth of defeat, for Pakistan!

Thanks to Naseem's two consecutive sixes in two balls of the last over, Pakistan joins Sri Lanka in the final of 2022 Asia Cup Cricket Tournament.

Pakistan's hopes of winning the match were dwindling, as its batters fell like autumn leaves, while chasing a meager 129 runs in 20 over.

Naseem Shah did the job and Pakistan won by 1 wicket.

Afghanistan's bowling was phenomenal, as they put a much experienced team under extreme pressure.

Hailing from Gulmit Gojal Marvi is the Youngest footballer from Gilgit Baltistan, who made it directly to the National football team of Pakistan.

currently she is part of the National team going to participate in SAFF Women's championship in Nepal.

Marvi started her career in 2018 and in such a span of time she achieved her aims, just because of her passion and hardwork.

It's only possible because of a supportive brother, and apart from that platforms like 'The Highlanders FC' and initiatives like Mountain Girls Premier League - MGPL and Gilgit-Baltistan Girls Football League where such talents are hunted.

Marvi is a true inspiration for other girls and I am sure if enough opportunity and support provided our girls can do more.

Tragedy of lower
Five brothers, five young brothers, can you imagine ! Aye can you?

Five young handsome brothers stuck amid the floods in the Duber gorge in lower Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which flooded unexpectedly! They were standing on a rock wailing and helpless for five hours, the time in which a bus can go to Lahore from Islamabad. The locals were trying to bring ropes and beams but the steam, nay a big river, flooded so heavily that no body can reach to them, neither they could catch the rope. They were crying for help. The locals around were helpless and prayed for some miracle! The locals, however, spread the news on social media but mainstream Pakistan and the province were busy in covering Mr Imran Khan who had to appear before a judge! .

In five hours a helicopter from Peshawar would have come and gone to the area three times but why, why for a people who are lesser sons of God and nobody at all. They are nobodies and useless citizens for they live in the hills!
Can you feel the pain of the five hours spent on the rock waiting for the gushes to engulf? Can you empathize with the families, with the villagers, the helpless lot!

Today the world of folk music has lost a famous musician. The death of Zia-ul-Karim, who belonged to Altit Hunza, was deeply saddening. He spread folk music not only at the level of Gilgit-Baltistan but also all over Pakistan and as a renowned teacher he also trained many people in folk music. He has played his utmost role in preserving the culture and music of Hunza. His name will be remembered in Golden words in history. Indeed a gem has been handed over to him from where he belonged to.
May Allah almighty grant his soul the highest place in Jannah. Ameen
