A 10-member team of Nepali climbers become the first mountaineers to reach the summit of worlds second highest peak K-2 (8,611m).

The climbers reached the summit today afternoon at 17:00.

K2 was the last of the fourteen 8,000-meter peaks not summited in winter.

The climbers team include Nirmal Purja, Gelje Sherpa, Mingma David Sherpa, Mingma G, Sona Sherpa, Mingma Tenzi Sherpa, Pem Chihiri Sherpa, DawaTemba Sherpa, Kili Pemba Sherpa and Dawa Tenjing Sherpa.

The team was led by Chhang Dawa Sherpa.

Climber Migma G becomes the first to summit K2 in the winter with no oxygen.

According to reports, all ten climbers stopped 30-feet below the summit on a relatively safe spot (still on a 40-degree snow slope at 28,200-feet) so that they could summit together in a sign of solidarity. No individual was listed as first.

Registered members will be provided with an undertaking form at the start of the trip having the details of the trip along with the mentioned terms & conditions. All members will be required to physically sign that form along with thumb impression. (Mandatory)
1.The members shall not be indulged in any act reflecting moral or character failing during the activities.
2.Using drugs or found party to drug sale or possession is strictly prohibited. If anyone finds or caught using any kind of drug will be expelled from the trip right away on the spot and the person will not be eligible for any kind of refund.
3.Use of violent behavior including altercation, insinuations of indecent kind, verbal and physical abuse and assault, aggravated behavior, or any other act amounting to unbecoming of member are strictly prohibited.
4.All members would give extra care for the local environmental care .Garbage (tins. Water bottles, wrappers etc) shall be suitably disposed without polluting water sources.
5.The host reserves the right to cancel trip without prior notice for any reasons deemed appropriate by them. In such a case the registered participants will receive full refund.
6.During the trip, the itineraries may be affected by reasons beyond control of the hosts. In such situation, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.
7.On steep ascends in mountainous areas, air conditioned of the buses will be operational on on-off basis to keep the vehicles from overheating.
8.Every humanly possible care will be taken for the safety of members, still each venture can be fraught with endangers of unforeseen natural disasters like avalanches and crevasse falls or any other accidents and sometimes such disasters cannot be ruled out. In any such type of accident during the whole tour, the company, group leader and the tour organizers will not be held responsible in any form.
9.In case of theft, lost or damage to personal belongings during the duration of the trip, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.
10.On adventure trek of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond the control of organizers can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the Leader and Guide will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group.
12. Cancellation Policy:
1. 24 HRS or less, 100% cancellation charges does apply.
2. 48 HRS or less, 100% cancellation charge does apply.
3. 3 days or more– 50% cancellation charge does apply.
13. 7 days or more – 30% cancellation charge does apply.
14. No amount will be refunded if any persons leaves the trip at any stage due to any reason. See less

Scenic landscape of Khaira Gali of Galyat 💕

is one of the tourist mountain resort towns of the area of , it has an altitude of 2347m. Gali is located in Palak which is a Union Council of District in province of Pakistan. This hill station was also used as a barricade by the during the colonial period and during the summer months it was occupied by one of the British mountain batteries, which were stationed at during the winter. It is also famous for the manor on the highest elevation of the town.

آج 21 دسمبر قومی ترانے کےخالق "حفیظ جالندھری" کا یوم وفات ہے۔

پاکستان کو قومی ترانےجیسا بیش قیمتی سرمایہ نواز کر امر ہوجانے والے حفیظ جالندھری 14 جنوری 1900 کو پنجاب کے شہر جالندھر میں پیدا ہوئے۔

ملکی خراب حالات کے باعث وہ اپنی تعلیم جاری نہ رکھ سکے اور ان کی اکیڈمک ایجوکیشن ساتویں جماعت تک ہی محدود رہی۔ اس کے باوجود انہیں خدا نے ایسی پوشیدہ صلاحیتوں سے نوازا تھا کہ صرف سات سال کی عمر میں اپنا پہلا شعر کہا اور پہلی غزل چھٹی جماعت میں کہی۔

ادبی تعلیم کے لیے قادر الکلام فارسی کے معروف شاعر مولانا غلام قادر بلگرامی کی شاگردی اختیار کی ۔قیام پاکستان کے بعد لاہور تشریف لائے اور پھر آخری دم تک لاہور کو رہائش کا اعزاز بخشا ۔ ایک وقت آیا کہ افواج پاکستان میں ڈائریکٹر جنرل آف مورالز اور امور کشمیر مقرر ہوئے انہیں حکومت پاکستان کی جانب سے ہلال امتیاز اور حسن کارکردگی کے صدارتی ایوارڈ سے بھی نوازا گیا۔

حفیظ جالندھری کا ناقابل فراموش کارنامہ شاہ نامہ اسلام کا تخلیق ہونا تھا جو ادب میں ہمیشگی اختیار کر گیا حفیظ جالندھری نے کئی مشہور گیت، غزلیں اور نظمیں بھی کہیں جن میں نغمہ زار ،سوزوساز شامل ہیں۔ افسانوں کا مجموعہ ہفت پیکر کے نام سے چھپا ایک معلومات افزا کتاب چیونٹی نامہ بھی لکھی۔

حفیظ جالندھری کا دوسرا بڑا کارنامہ پاکستان کا قومی ترانہ ہے اس ترانے کی تخلیق کی وجہ سے وہ ہمیشہ یاد رکھے جائیں گے۔

21 دسمبر 1982 کو قلیل علالت کے بعدحرکت قلب بند ہو جانے سے وہ خالق حقیقی سےجا ملے اور انہیں مینار پاکستان کے سائے تلےدفن کیا گیا۔
