Kristin Harila of Norway summited Gasherbrum-I, the world's 11th highest mountain this morning in Northern Pakistan.

This peak also marked her 11th 8000er in 105 days, becoming the first female climber to do so.
She's currently chasing the record to summit all peaks above 8000 meters in the shortest possible time. Currently the record is held by Nirmal Purja.

Today's summit on G1 concluded the second phase of her project. She will now return to Norway for some time before attempting the last three mountains remaining in her challenge in autumn.
