Wajidullah Nagari has become the second mountaineer by defying all odds to have scaled the Rakaposhi peak in the Gilgit-Baltistan territory of Pakistan.

Rakaposhi is a mountain of the Karakoram mountain range in the Gilgit-Baltistan. The peak,also known as Dumani ("Mother of Mist" or "Mother of Clouds"), is the 27th highest in the world.

Wajidullah performed the adventurous feat on Wednesday evening along with two other mountaineers from the Czech Republic.

Wajidullah took a different route to surmount the peak.

19-year-old Shehroze Kashif becomes youngest Pakistani to summit K2. Alpine Adventure Guides also confirmed that a Pakistani team has successfully waved the national flag on the top of K2.
•Shehroze Kashif becomes the youngest Pakistani to summit K2.
•He climbed K2 at around 8 am this morning.
•The mountaineer reached the base camp on 14th of July to scale the 8,611 metres peak.

The body of national hero and mountaineer Ali Sadpara, who went missing while climbing K2 hill, has been found.
Alpine Adventure Guides, a mountaineering company, posted a message on the microblogging site Twitter.
In the message, the company claimed that the body of Ali Sadpara’s body was found 300 meters away from the bottleneck on the hill.
He added that two bodies were found 300 meters below Camp No.4
