Established in 2016 by Sobia Maq and Adnan Afaq, two senior financial sector specialists, we create Some types of holiday experiences we can organize are:

c. Adventure Holidays: We cater to first time campers and trekkers with none to limited outbound experience to the more adventurous ones looking to conquer high peaks. We will take you to places free spirits dream of! Learning Trips: We organize several types of learning trips. We invite students from the world’s top universities - tomorrow’s opinion leaders - to visit Pakistan and change their opinion about Pakistan beyond the headlines. We take young people to high mountains and expose them to a variety of experiences - from learning to enjoying under rugged conditions to team work to appreciating nature and finding joy in giving. e. And of course, if you just want to have a luxury vacation, we are here to arrange it all for you! In extension with our mission to touch lives, we actively participate in philanthropic endeavours to help people and communities in need. Recently, we initiated a relief campaign for the locals of the remote outpost of Gulmet, in Hunza. We are proud to be able to provide them continued economic support, in addition to supporting a local school with scholarships and otherwise, as they fight their way through the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Located about 5 hours drive from Islamabad, Malam Jabba is a hill station and ski resort in the Swat Valley. In winters, the place is famous for tourism owing to winter sports, adjacent views of beautiful snow-covered mountains, and thick green forests, and some amazing hotels. And of course as you drive up, you cannot miss the juicy oranges or the Chapli Kebabs from Takht Bhai!

Even if you are a complete novice, the local boys will surely get you skiing in no time at all! Watch our very own, Sobia Maq, skiing skillfully (or maybe not so skillfully) down the slopes. Thankfully this did not end in a fall!

Pakistan Trek, a flagship project of Route 16, had our international participants from Harvard Kennedy School, meet with the honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan, to engage in a discussion entailing public policy. The Prime Minister, then Chairman PTI, was kind enough to take out time for the students who had travelled to Pakistan from the USA.
