کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ دنیا کا سب سے لمبا بس کا راستہ کلکتہ سے لندن تھا . اس راستے پر بس 15 اپریل 1957 کو شروع کی گئی تھی ، یہ بس کلکتہ سے دہلی ، امرتسر ، واہگہ بارڈر ، لاہور (پاکستان) ، کابل ، ہرات جاتی تھی ۔ (افغانستان) ، تہران (ایران) ، استنبول (ترکی) ، جرمنی ، آسٹریا فرانس اور تقریبا 7900 کلومیٹر کا فاصلہ طے کرنے کے بعد لندن پہنچتی تھی ۔ بس 1973 تک چلی تھی۔ جب 1957 میں چلی تھی تو اس کا کرایہ 85 پاؤنڈ تھا۔ اس وقت یہ بڑھ کر 145 پاؤنڈ ہوچکا تھا

🌸🍂🍁🌸The Trango Towers (ٹرینگو ٹاورز‎) are a family of rock towers situated in Gilgit-Baltistan, in the north of Pakistan. The Towers offer some of the largest cliffs and most challenging rock climbing in the world, and every year a number of expeditions from all corners of the globe visit Karakoram to climb the difficult granite. They are located north of Baltoro Glacier, and are part of the Baltoro Muztagh, a sub-range of the Karakoram range. The highest point in the group is the summit of Great Trango Tower at 6,286 m (20,623 ft), the east face of which features the world's greatest nearly vertical drop.🌸🍂🍁🌸

جب گلگت میں پہلی موٹر کار داخل ہوئی.
The first-ever motorized vehicles arrived in Gilgit via Burzil Pass & Gurez in the summer of 1931. The Haardt-Citroen Transasiatic Expedition (Beirut to Beijing) was initially supposed to travel through USSR, but when permission was denied by USSR, it was re-routed. The expedition arrived in Gilgit in July 1931 and in the same month it proceeded to Hunza. If USSR had granted permission, the expedition would never have come this way, as this part of the trip through Karakoram and Himalaya proved to be the most difficult one. “The trip’s purpose was to open up the Silk Road to cars”.
At least one photographer, filmmakers with bulky audio-video recording equipment, and an artist were also dispatched with the expedition. ”Maynard Owen Williams of National Geographic Society was the expedition photographer, the society had co-sponsored the trip, and the magazine published five stories covering the expedition from 1931- 1940”.

انوکھا پل

فرانو پل گلگت بلتستان کا قدیم ترین پل ہے،یہ طرز تعمیر کا انوکھا شاہکار ہے،اس کی تعمیر میں نٹ، بولٹ،لوہے کا میخ یا رسہ وغیرہ کچھ بھی استعمال نہیں ہوا ہے.

بڑے بڑے پتھروں میں سفیدے کے درختوں کو گاڑ کر تعمیر کیا جانے والا یہ پل 100 سال مکمل کرچکا ہے.

دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ یہ پل آج بھی بہترین حالت میں ہے
یہ پل ضلع گانگچھے کے آخری گاؤں میں ہے.

ہمارے بزرگوں میں جہاں خلوص تھا وہاں ان کے کاموں میں بھی اس کی جھلک اور پختگی نظر آتی تھی.

دوسری طرف آج کے جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے دور میں ہمارے ہاں پل بنائے جاتے ہیں اگلے سال پل دریا میں گرا ہوتا ہے اور
حکومتی خزانے سے پل کے لئے نیا فنڈ ایشو ہوتا ہے.

بلتستان میں طرز تعمیر کا انوکھا شاہکار
خوبصورت لکڑی سے بنا اپو علی زمبا (فرانو پل)
یہ اپنی نوعیت کا ایک عجوبہ ہے جسکی تعمیر میں کوئی نٹ بولٹ یا لوہے کا میخ استعمال نہیں ہوا ہے اور نہ ہی سیمنٹ/ کنکریٹ کا استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔
بڑے بڑے پتھروں میں سفیدے کے درختوں کو گاڑ کر تعمیر کیا جانے والا یہ پل اپنی سنچری (100 سال) پوری کر چکا ہے۔ اس کاریگری کے شاہکار میں سہارہ دینے کیلئے نہ کوئی ستون ہے اور نہ کوئی لوہے کا رسہ۔
سنا ھے اس پل کا معمار اپو علی شاہ تھا آج تک مقامی لوگ اسے اپو علی شاہ پل کہتے ھیں ۔
یاد رھے فرانو، ضلع گنگچھے، گلگت بلتستان کا آخری گاوں ہے۔
