The mountain is Mount Susitna, which stands at 4,396-foot about 33 miles northwest of Anchorage.
The picture is said to have been taken from a drone.

𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙮:-

Mount Susitna is often called Sleeping Lady for its resemblance to a recumbent woman. The mountain is associated with a local legend in which a woman belonging to a race of gaint vows to sleep until her beloved comes back from battle. The first known printing of the local legend was written by Nancy Lesh and published in 1962.A retelling of the legend was published in a 1994 picture book by Ann Dixon. Dixon and her publisher were sued for their version of the story, but a judge ruled that the story had become a legend, and was therefore uncopyrightable.
Native stories say that the lady was engaged to a man who was off to protect their village before they wed. On the day her fiancé left, she promised to wait in the exact spot where he bade farewell.
After many nights, she fell into a deep sleep waiting for him. Word came back to the village that the men were killed. Seeing how peacefully she was sleeping, the villagers couldn’t bare to wake her up so she lay there, asleep and waiting for her love to return.

Many websites analysis into this claim reveals it to be false. The “drone” photograph is not a real photograph at all, but a product of digital artist Jean-Michel Bihorel, who posted it to his website under the title “Winter Sleep.” The artist has since verified that the photo is his personal creation, but nevertheless claims continue to circulate due to the resemblance of the art to the Alaskan legend.

Hunza Valley

Hunza valley of Gilgit-Baltistan is the unknown face of Pakistan.
