Renowned mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara has passed away at the age of 56 in Skardu.
He was under treatment at Regional Hospital Skardu after receiving critical injuries while training for his K-2 mission.
Sadpara had summited four of the world's 8000m high peaks.
He has been involved in mountaineering since 1986.
He had climbed the 7,000-meter-high mountains 17 times, including four peaks above 8,000 meters.

Ali Raza was to embark on a K2 adventure this year.
