In view of prevailing global and regional disease trends, Pakistan has decided to reduce inbound international travel from 5 May to 20th May. International flights to Pakistan will be reduced to 20% during this period.

Dear Followers,

The United Kingdom is taking steps to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

1) All passengers (including UK nationals and residents) arriving in the UK from outside the common travel area must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 3 days of departure to the UK. For further information please click here.

2) To protect your health and others’, everyone must complete an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF) before arrival in the United Kingdom.

3) All arrivals must quarantine for 10 days unless exempt. If you have travelled through a red list country in the last 10 days, you must have a valid Managed Quarantine Facility booked prior to departure. For information please click here. Also, you should make your quarantine hotel reservation. For information please click here.

Please check the list of exempt countries immediately before travel and the list of work-related exemptions if travelling for work.

4) Everyone is required to take a coronavirus test on days 2 and 8 of their quarantine. You must have this booked prior to departure. For information please click here.

Amber list country must have purchased the mandatory ‘testing package’ and completed the booking reference field on the PLF with the acceptable format of test reference numbers. As a reminder, test references must only be input in the either of the following formats: Five letters followed by a series of letters or numbers (Eg: [AAAAA00ABC....], these are the new private provider references) or seven numbers only (Eg: [7654321], these are the existing CTM booking references).

Failure to comply with the above measures is a criminal offence and you could be fined.

UK Government quarantine update for inbound passengers
Dear Partner,

As we continue to adapt to the evolving requirements surrounding travel, we would like to reiterate the latest information which will impact all passengers travelling into the UK.

The UK Government this week announced further measures at the UK border effective as of 15 February 2021. These include:

Government secured hotel isolation requirement for all arrivals from the 33 countries on the UK government's red list
Passengers arriving from all countries will be required to take Covid-19 tests on day 2 and day 8 of their quarantine period
Significant penalties imposed if passengers do not accurately disclose they are returning from a red list country
These measures are in addition to the current requirements for mandatory pre-flight Covid-19 testing.

The Scottish Government also announced that all inbound passengers whose journey originated internationally, including those transiting via an airport in England, will be required to undergo supervised hotel quarantine for 10 days.

Anyone arriving into England who has visited or been in transit through one of the red list countries in the last 10 days will be required to purchase a quarantine package (which will include the government approved accommodation, Covid-19 testing facilities and assigned transportation). Details about the quarantine package and the link to the online booking portal can be found here.

British Airways will be required to ask impacted passengers for proof of their quarantine package booking at check-in and may deny boarding if this is not provided. For more information, please visit the UK Government’s website.
