In order to promote tourism in Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved declaring three tourists spots of Ghanool (Mansehra), Mankyal (Swat) and Madaklasht (Lower Chitral) as integrated tourism zones (ITZs).

In this regard, the first meeting of Provincial Tourism Strategy Board, chaired by the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan was held where approval was given and for the final approval, the matter would be presented before the provincial cabinet.

Provincial Cabinet members Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Ishtiaq Urmar, Chief Secretary Shehzad Bangash, Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah administrative secretaries and others attended the meeting.

The forum was informed that Ghanol ITZ would consist of an area of 489 Kanal whereas Mankyal and Madaklasht would consist of 450 Kanal and 500 Kanals of land, respectively.

Malaysian Firm presents Development Plan of 4 Tourist zones in KP. APUDG (AJM Planning and Urban Design Group) is a Malaysian Firm and they have made and presented a development plan on 4 attractive tourism zones in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This will help the Government of Pakistan’s dream of increasing tourism in Pakistan and showcase its beauty in the world.

The 4 tourism zones included in the master plan for developmer are Mankial in Swat, Thandiani in Abbottabad, Ganol in Mansehra, and Madaklasht in Lower Chitral.

The master plan for development of 4 tourism zones includes map-making, local planning, destination management plan, phase-wise infrastructure development, and construction of roads leading to them.

The best way to kill a rumor is to confront the reality. We met this couple at Khunjerab in the first week of May. Meet Anna & Bojan. They came from Serbia, landed at Islamabad. Then went to Gilgit by air. They hired a local rent a car driver who took them to Hunza. They stayed for 3 days in Hunza, explored Nagar Valley, hopper, Khunjerav, Baltit, Altit, Karimabad, Duikar. After that they took a local bus from Gilgit to Chitral to see the famous Chillam Joshi Festival. From Chitral they went to Islamabad on local bus, came to lahore via Shuja express niazi adda, We took them for a breakfast at interior side. They explored the city and went back to Islamabad as they had to catch their flight next day to Oman. Point is the way they traveled. Most of us won't even consider traveling that way. Over all it just shows one thing that Pakistan is safe. No matter what your fox news or CNN tells you. Watch what they have to say about Pakistan.
