SALT MINE - WIELICZKA

Pogoda za oknami zdecydowanie nas nie rozpieszcza, ale mimo to podczas spaceru po płycie Rynku Głównego usłyszymy ,,symboliczny'' hejnał z wieży Mariackiej.
Grany co godzinę z wieży Bazyliki Mariackiej jednego z najstarszych kościołów Krakowa. Melodia za każdym razem zostaje przerwana. Symbolizuje to legendę o trębaczu, który w 1240 roku chciał ostrzec miejscowych o zbliżającym się ataku Tatarów lecz z ręki wroga zginął ugodzony strzałą.

The weather outside the windows definitely does not spoil us, but while walking on the Main Square, we can hear the "symbolic" bugle call from the St. Mary's Tower.
Played every hour from the tower of St. Mary's Basilica, one of the oldest churches in Krakow.
The melody will be interrupted every time. This symbolizes the legend of the trumpeter, who in 1240 wanted to warn the local and impending attacks of Tartars who were being treated by the enemy's hand, he was killed by an arrow.

Kolejna już druga ciekawostka o Krakowie dotyczy jego rynku. Jest to największy rynek w Polsce i Europie!!!
Każdy jego bok ma długość 200 metrów.

Rzeźba Dużej Głowy.
Znajduje się za Sukiennicami na Rynku. Duża głowa jest naprawdę dziwaczna i jest czymś, o czym pamięta każdy turysta. Dla mieszkańców jest to często miejsce spotkań. Co dokładnie przedstawia ta rzeźba?
To głowa Erosa Bendato, Boga miłości.
Dlaczego ma opaskę na oczach?
Może dlatego, że miłość jest ślepa?

Today, curiosity about Krakow No. 1:

Big Head Sculpture.
It is located behind the Cloth Hall in the Market Square. The big head is really bizarre and is something that every tourist remembers. For residents it is often a meeting place. What exactly does this sculpture represent?
It is the head of Eros Bendato, God of love.
Why is he wearing a blindfold?
Maybe because love is blind?
