Please avoid crowded areas... but if it cannot be avoided (e.g. Public buses) please wear protective masks.
If you feel any respiratory discomfort, headaches, pains, or and feverish ... please report to you nearest health centre.
This is a violent infection that can kill within 24hours.

Independence day Seychelles!The Republic of Seychelles annually celebrates Independence Day on June 29. This holiday celebrates the day, when Seychelles gained independence from Great Britain. Most families meet on the beach for a party. Most Creole families meet on the beach every sunday but independenc day is special. Lots of fun! The first Europeans who set foot on Seychelles were the Portuguese, however, since the mid of the 1700s the islands were controlled by the French. The British contested control over the islands in the beginning of the 1800s. At that time the islands were administered by Mauritius, that was ruled by France. After the fall of Mauritius in 1903 Seychelles became a colony of Great Britain.

Britain granted the islands independence on June 29, 1976. James Mancham became the first president of independent state. However, his presidency didn't last long, and he was deposed in a bloodless coup d'état.
