Please repeat with me: Las Tinajas natural water slides and Las Paylas natural water slides are NOT part of El Yunque National forest. These 2 locations are NOT part of the 29 000 acres of land of the National forest. Please take a look at the map. Everything in dark green is El Yunque National rain forest. As you can see Las Paylas, Las Tinajas and even Charco el Hippie are outside of the dark green area meaning they are located on private properties. To tell tourist that they are going to El Yunque and then taking them to Las Paylas or Las Tinajas is a very irresponsible thing to do. That's taking advantage of the lack of knowledge the tourist have about the different parts of the Island. The real Yunque tour should include the recreational area on road 191 entering through Palmer in Rio Grande, the 191 road entering through the Naguabo area, road 988 and road 186.
Also, any tour guide or company willing to do or doing tours inside El Yunque National rainforest need the permits granted by the U.S. forest service.
