Today we remember those brutally murdered in arguably the worst chapter of the 20th century.

This estimated number given by Martin Gilbert in his excellent book "Atlas of the Holocaust" is 5,693,851 amd it represents the authentic total of Jews exterminated between September 1th, 1939 and May 8th, 1945. The total of the Jewish victims is just over 5,750,000 and is based on such country by country and region by region records as survive.

Such a total, however, can never be complete. Thousands of infants and babies were murdered, by the N**i killing squads in the autumn of 1941, for example, before their birth could be recorded for any 'statistical' purpose. Thousands more individuals, especially in the remoter villages of Poland were 'added' to the deportation trains which left larger localities, without any numerical register being made of their existence or fate.

But we must realize this number does not include the many thousands of political opponents executed in the camps, the hundreds of thousands of Russian POW's, and all the forgotten minorities: gypsies, homosexuals, etc. Accurate numbers for exactly how many humans died as a result of the N**i plans are simply not available and never will be.

Research by some of the worlds most able historians place the number of Holocaust victims murdered by German government policy to be not less than 12,000,000 and probably more.

Incredibly lately some historians and or revisionists have changed the estimated number of Jews killed during the Holocaust from 6 million to 2.5 million. This new estimation is based on the fact that Soviet historians may have inflated the number of Soviet victims for political reasons. Some revisionists or deniers are using this new estimated number of victims in order to minimize the Holocaust or even to deny its reality.

Tonight we pray for the souls of the victims and their families...

Celebremos que Puerto Rico tiene el Guia Turistico Certificado internacionalmente mas joven del mundo!

En Bucketlist Tour queremos compartir nuestro orgullo de que nuestro Marcos Alexis ponga Puerto Rico en alto al convertirse en el Guia Turistico Internacional Certificado mas joven del mundo.

El pasado 7 de Septiembre, y durante la conferencia NEXT de la Compañia de Turismo de Puerto Rico, Aquila entrego las certificaciones de Guia Turistico Internacional a cerca de 40 guias turisticos, siendo uno de ellos Marcos Alexis Lopez, que a sus 12 años se convierte en el mas joven en el mundo y en la historia en recibir dicha certificacion.

Gracias a este logro, Marcos Alexis ha sido invitado formalmente para tomar parte de la apertura de la convencion mas grande de Operadores de Tours y Guias Turisticos del mundo; Arival, a celebrarse en Orlando del 9 al 12 de Octubre.

Ademas de ser Guia Internacional Certificado, Marcos Alexis cursa septimo grado en American School en Bayamon donde ha mantenido un promedio de 4 puntos desde Pre-Kinder, pertenece al Cuadro de Honor y al Consejo de Estudiantes, y lidera el equipo de ajedrez de escuela intermedia.
