While taking pictures of a female Puerto Rican Mango in front of our headquarters, a Parasitic Jaeger flew above us. Then, we heard again the Puerto Rican Vireo, which is rare in this zone.

If the Vireo keeps coming, the only endemic missing in the northeastern coast will be the Nightjar.

Today we went again to our birding spots to make sure that it is safe. Luquillo Bird Outing is back! A Lizard Cuckoo just flew in front of us; less trees :(, but easier to see the birds.

Due to safety reasons all our island-wide outdoor (nature) activities are still on hold. Historic walks in Old San Juan, San Germán and Ponce are available.

Resolution: Minimum 300 dpi.
Adjustments Permitted: Cropping, exposure, saturation, contrast, focus.
Not Permitted: Photomontages, anatomical alterations, double exposures, removal of elements.
Natural Environment: Birds must be photographed in their natural habitats.
Respect: Respect birds' habitats and well-being.

For those of you who want to book one of our activities to El Yunque U.S. Forest Service - El Yunque National Forest, please be advised that the process of permit renewal has taken longer than usual; henceforth, there are several companies, including ours that are waiting for the renewal papers in order to continue offering our services at the Forest.

We have canceled all reservations for June, 2024; reservations for July are on hold.
