I have to be honest; we were a tad disappointed when our 1st choice restaurant option in Kenner's new Treasure Chest Casino wasn't available, BUT it actually was the BEST thing that could've happened because then I had the opportunity to try THIS magical beauty:
The Game's Bar & Grill BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with its house-smoked tender meat & slathered in beautiful coleslaw, exactly like this southern girl LOVES. Oh, and that ice cold potato salad, ugh, now I'm craving it again :)

My point is, there A LOT to see, experience & eat in Kenner's newest elevated any-time-of-the-day hotspot, but my 1st taste there, (which wasn't even my 1st choice) ended up being the thing that ensures I go back.
A BIG thank you to Tony who served us this enchanting lunch. He has worked with the Treasure Chest for over 22 years AND I'm happy to report is HAPPIER than ever, here, celebrating Treasure Chest Casino's new land-based home!

All we witnessed here was a friendly and welcoming staff, sparkling clean EVERYTHING & a huge new space just aching for us to all come play & eat in Kenner's windy Laketown.

'Tis the season of summer traveling, dance recitals, reunions, bar-b-que's, birthday parties, and a lot of a little bit of EVERYTHING.
So, when you need to pick up a perfect little something, stop into Kenner's De Ja Vu boutique.

My favorite part of visiting my sister in Georgia is our stolen early morning coffee-catch ups, so this Louisiana mug was a must-have to bring to surprise her with. Life goes too fast, don't forget to stop & catch up with those that matter most.

& we seriously had to stop the Tour-de-Kenner-Food-Exploring because ya'll know there's only so much you can take before a night is needed to recover.
