I've started spearfishing at 7 years old in the Azores and I got my first underwater camera at 14 - way before GoPros were invented. While graduating in Cinema and Journalism, I've worked as the main editor for the biggest portuguese 'telco' brand MOCHE and in the surfing industry directing short documentaries and advertising films. Shortly after, I've funded Breathless Productions and released th

e documentary INHALE which was a huge crowdfunding success all over the world. This documentary was filmed while freediving at depths bellow 100 in the wildest places of the Azores. At the moment, my work consists of traveling around the world to dive in the craziest places but always returning to the Azores as a spearfishing guide to share what i've learnt during more than 10 years in the archipelago. I also work with Perrin James (Last Breath Films) as the main editor behind some of the best spearfishing videos in the world. It's a wrap! Just got back home from an epic on the other side of the world and it was ON! It's always challenging to hunt these fish and I consider it a successful trip when you have one good opportunity at a proper beast. In this case we saw them pretty much every day with schools up to 50 fish. Wahoo and mahi were also around and it was also pretty cool to film hammer heads and bull sharks! Great weather, great food and just a couple friends out there doing what they love the most. Just got back and absolutely stoked to be home, even if for just a couple days!

On another note, how much do you think this puppy weighs? Its always hard to judge on a shot like this with no reference, but the proportions of a fish after certain size definitely change🤞
