Ginjinha (gin-gin-ia) or simple Ginja (gin-gia) its a licor obtained from a fruit very similar to a cherry and its very popular in Portugal, specialy in Lisbon and Óbidos. Its normaly served with a ginja at the bottom of the cup. Attention its not a shot, you should drink it by sips.

"Eléctrico" 🚃🚋- The trams are named this way in Portugal - They work as transport and post card at the same time. Started its activity in 1901 and after 100 years this trams are still around and in good shape. Ride one of this trams is definitely a must while visiting Lisbon. Need some tips?

Christmas is not complete without walking the streets and take advantage of some Xmas activities.
every year Porto town hall organizes a couple of free events both for adults and kids.
Besides that, there will be lots of christmas markets and spots to taste a good coffee or a hot chocolate. Basicaly Porto is a very good option to visit during this season.

Neighborhoods in Lisbon 🔥🔥🔥

Bica is one of Lisbon's most typical areas. Rua da Bica itself is a really steep, narrow road that connects the street-party hot-spot Bairro Alto or down to the more bohemian Cais do Sodré. If you want to experience some old-school Lisbon and enjoy that feeling of walking through postcards, this is the neighbourhood for you. The trams going up and down Bica make it an obligatory stop for tourists during the day. But it's also quickly becoming a trendy, hip street to have a drink on the streets at night. The tiny bars have a great vibe and people gather in the hundreds to have a drink out on the steps. Getting up and down Bica is easy if you take the so-called elevator (it's sort of like a tram). After that, you'll find most transportation around the area to be from Cais Do Sodré - there you'll find Green Line metro, 3 or 4 tram lines and over a dozen different buses.
