We have had the luck of travelling and working in different countries around the world, which allows us to appreciate different mindsets and cultures. We like diving and fell in love with the Azores, when first visiting in 2006, since nothing beats the tranquillity of the Ocean, the black and green of those volcanic islands, and it's people, always welcoming. We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London.Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.
The Space: Bedrooms - All sea facing: Master Bedroom with a 1,6 x 2m bed and ensuite bathroom, with fitted wardrobe. Bedroom with either two 0,9 x 2m beds or with one 1,8 x 2m bed, with fitted wardrobe. Bathrooms: Modern style bathrooms with walk-in shower. Living Room: Amazing sea and mountain views to distract you away from the 50 inch Smart TV. Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen, including coffee machine, kettle, sandwich press and hand blender. Internet: Wifi available throughout the House. Laundry Room: 12kg washing machine. Upstairs: Open plan area to relax or work.Guest Access
Guest Access: Barbecue and stone oven. Covered eating area. Wooden and fabric pergola just outside the kitchen to allow most of the meals to be held outside. Ample parking space.
