What to consider when you choose the perfect location for your new home in Portugal?
Here’s some points for you:

1. Weather & Climate. Crazy hot summers, rainy, damp and cold winters or anything in between - Portugal has it all! Have a look at the map below and get an overview. What you consider a great climate is very individual. Don’t let others options fool you.
Remember there can be huge difference also in very small distances. That’s why it’s good with a local expert. Be honest to yourself. Do t go for “I can coop with”. Go for what you truly wants.

2. Interests. If pickleball is very important to you, move to a place with a large American community. If you love water sports, be close to the sea but consider the exact location from point 1.
You can do and find almost everything in Portugal but maybe not everywhere. A relocation guide can help you investigate different opportunities and networks.

3. International communities. Don’t let this be an important factor. We immigrants are widely spread so if you’re not moving to a very tiny village in the deepest inland, you will find us!

4. Lively, crazy lively, slow or super slow or a mix. Look into your lifestyle with “new” eyes. What is really important to you? Do you prefer silence and not too many people around or do you love to be a part of the crowd and have fun together?
Every town and village has a bar/cafe and at least one restaurants. Also small towns in Portugal have festivals and events. Ones again, don’t listen to individuals opinions too much. Talk to people with facts and who has knowledge enough to compare different places.

5. Portugal is a small spot on the map but huge in diversity. Do not waste time and money trying to visit the whole country! Focus on areas matching your personal lifestyle, budget and soul. When you have found a place to relocate, you have plenty of time to explore the rest!

This is a welcomed new law in the Algarve🙏. We need to regulate the access to some of the most famous nature attractions to preserve the nature treasures we have. Portugal has so much more to offer than the “top 10” sites.

This is why I started my company. My passion is to show people the authentic Algarve and Alentejo, beyond the touristic spots. And my clients are truly wowed!

New rules for Benagil caves come into force on August 13. Accessing the caves by swimming or using flotation devices will not be allowed.

Good news for you who's looking for a RENTAL in the Algarve or Alentejo! I am happy to introduce one more service in my relocation guidance concept - Rental search.

Become a Futourist for a sustainable tourism!

On water and on land. Today I went out for my new concept. This time in Alcacer do Sal on Sado river with Sunrice Tours. A wonderful trip with a silent solar panel boat that doesn’t disturbe the nature and the peacefulness.
A rich bird life and beautiful nature.

Alcacer do Sal is a lovely town located 1 hour south of Lisbon, 30 min from the amazing beaches of Alentejo.
