Férias da Páscoa

O Museu Municipal de Tavira propõe três atividades para o período das férias da Páscoa em parceria com a ASTA- Associação de Artes e Sabores de Tavira e Associação Lais de Guia - Associação Cultural do Património Marítimo.

Nos dias 05 e 06 de abril, entre as 10h00 e as 12h00, realiza-se a oficina ”Empreita de Esparto”, sob a orientação do artesão Bruno Constâncio.

O esparto é uma fibra natural que deriva de uma planta que cresce no Algarve. Esta é apanhada no verão e destina-se ao artesanato: cestaria, tapetes e alcofas.

A presente iniciativa dirige-se ao público infantojuvenil (crianças e jovens entre os 8 e os 14 anos, acompanhados de um adulto), num total máximo de 6 participantes. No final da oficina, os intervenientes terão a oportunidade de levar a sua peça de empreita de esparto como recordação.

Os interessados deverão efetuar a sua inscrição (gratuita e obrigatória), através do preenchimento do respetivo formulário (https://forms.gle/4mAw8wcsbCfoAd2g9). Para mais informação deverá ser contactada a organização, pelo número 281 320 545.

No dia 14 de abril, pelas 10h00, decorre a Rota do Polvo. A atividade consiste num passeio histórico-etnográfico pela vila piscatória de Santa Luzia, a “Capital do polvo”. A partir do porto de pesca, onde diariamente as embarcações chegam do mar com o polvo, será percorrida a vila junto à Ria Formosa para apreciar a fauna local, as embarcações, as diferentes artes de pesca e conviver com os pescadores.

No dia 15 de abril, pelas 10h00, tem lugar a Rota do Atum-Barril. A visita realiza-se, na Praia do Barril, em Santa Luzia, onde, entre 1841 e 1966, existiu uma armação de pesca de atum designada por "Barril ou Três Irmãos". Este é um espaço único, cheio de histórias. Com esta ação é possível conhecer os antigos espaços de trabalho e lazer – casa dos patrões, casa dos pescadores, armazéns e o “cemitério de âncoras” – onde os pescadores e suas famílias viviam durante os seis meses da temporada de pesca.

Ambas as rotas destinam-se ao público infantojuvenil (crianças a partir dos 7 anos de idade), num número máximo de 15 participantes cada.
