***Are you feeling creative and looking for some extra fun? Join the additional Tavira Illustrated arts days with the talented Grażyna Ostrowska at LIGHTHOUSE on 20 and 21st of April.
She'll guide you through the creation of travel maps and drawings, using simple yet powerful mediums like pencil, water-soluble crayons, and gouache paints. This course focuses on the joy of illustrating your journey, capturing both the informative and emotional essence of the places visited.

Ever wondered how I stumbled upon the enchanting Algarve and made it my home for unforgettable hiking adventures? Or perhaps, you're curious about tips for solo travelers or the color that reflects my soul. 🏞️💭

Join me in this open conversation as I share my journey, insights, and a sprinkle of wisdom for solo explorers. 🌟✈️

💡 Tip for Solo Travelers:
If you do decide to go exploring on your own (like I do very often, and I love it!) Make sure you're prepared!
1. Take enough water with you. Better to have lots left than to fall without during the trip 💦
2. Make sure you always take snacks with you 🍫
3. Wear layers of clothing. Extra layer (jacket/sweater) to avoid ever getting cold 👚
4. Prepare your navigation. Make sure you explore the area/hike on different/several navigation apps first. Find out alternative routes, extensions you want to explore, hills/crossing rivers... 📍
5. Take an extra battery for electronic 'fuel' 🪫
6. Make sure you let at least 1 person know where you're going 👫

Nestled in Silves, we enter the sacred grounds of the Iberian Lynx Sanctuary 🦁, a refuge for these magnificent creatures. Our journey includes a captivating hike through the scenic hills and around the tranquil 'Barragem de Arade' lake. 🏞️

While we respect the sanctuary's tranquility, we keep our eyes peeled for a rare sighting of the Iberian Lynx, hoping to witness these elusive beings in their natural habitat. Join us for a day of adventure, nature, and the thrill of spotting a Lynx in the wild. 🌄🌟
