🐤 Our Canary Islands time is coming to an end... And we are ready to jump into our Azorean summer season! ⛵😍

We loved to spend our winter more South, discovered new places, lots of good sailing, friends visiting, making new friends, paragliding, diving, carnaval (and again carnaval), hiking, food tasting and a lot more but we are looking forward to go back in our untouched, lush, green, beautiful and authentic Azores.
Spending almost 4 months in the Canaries made us realised even more how unique and preserved the Azores are. We love them so much 💚.
We encourage everyone to visit the Azores in a responsible way in order to keep them the way they are.

Hello from Santa Maria island, the small island of the Azorian Oriental group, the one more on the South-East of the archipelago!

We really enjoyed our first day around this little island, with landscapes very differents than what we are used to see in the Azores! 🏜

⛵ Route du Rhum 2022 ⛵

This is not usually the kind of sailboats that we are in to but this time it will change a bit! ⛵

Pictures of some class40 from the Route du Rhum 2022 that have, unfortunately, to stop for repairs here in the Azores.

The Inter Invest from Matthieu Perraut had to stop after hitting some unidentified objects in the water. 😔

The Conscious Planet from Donald Alexander had to stop because of electrical issues.

⛵ Winter Sailing - São Miguel island ⛵

First stop of our journey in the beautiful island of São Miguel; marina de Ponta Delgada.

Time for some electric/electronic maintenance, and of course the traditional picture from the top of the mast! 😁

ps: In the background you can see the spectacular Trimaran Ocean Fifty from Thibaut Vauchel-Camus that had, unfortunately, like a few others skippers, to abandon the Route du Rhum 2022.

Our Azorean 2022 summer season is officially done!

We would like to thank all our guests for their amazing company; what a wondeful summer time we had! 😎🙏🏼😊

Now here we go for the winter time!
We left our "base", Praia da Vitória on Terceira island, to head more south to Madeira arquipelago and Canaries islands.

We'll first stop in São Miguel island and Santa Maria island to do some maintenance, and after that let the adventure begins! 💪🏼😁
