The Journey of Discovery is a transformative week-long adventure designed to challenge and inspire Year 10 students. Through long hikes, wilderness camping, cooking their own meals, and working as a team, students learn essential life skills while reflecting on their personal growth. The program includes teamwork challenges, a demanding 20km hike to the barragem, and a profound 4-hour period of solitude for deep reflection on their goals and dreams. During this time, they receive heartfelt letters from their parents, offering emotional support and encouragement. The experience culminates in a campfire celebration with s’mores and a special pizza night to honor the hard work, resilience, and determination shown by every participant. This is more than just an outdoor adventure—it’s a journey of self-discovery and a chance to build lasting memories.
