We adventured in the Algarve countryside Silves and Monchique, with an American couple (New Jersey and Philly) found the precious gems of this area, talked about kings, princes and castles.
For lunch had the wild boar (best restaurant in Silves), goatling and seabass, what a great meal.
Learned everything about cork trees and carobs, finishing with wine tasting at a winery on a gorgeous valley.

๐ง Lagos ๐ง when visiting Ponta da Piedade (one of the most gorgeous landscapes in Europe), beware its no longer accessible by car during the work and construction/renovation of the road and parking lot.
Now there is a temporarly parking lot at a new roundabout by Camilo beach access.
From there on is walking only to the lighthouse.
For me and Whashington (USA) guests took us 2 hours (instead of 1 hour) to complete the visit of this two gorgeous sites, due to traffic limitations and more walking.

Had the most amazing day in Carvoeiro, new town Portimรฃo and Lagos, including a boat along the coast to Benagil and Marinha, with a couple of young ladies.
For lunch had a gorgeous tasty typical Seafood Cataplana, with special gift in the end Port wine, Almond licour and traditional Ginginha in dark chocolate cup. For desert we head to the most antique and traditional bakery in Lagos to have the famous Dom Rodrigo sweet.
