On every Thursday of the week in the town of Barcelos (where the legend of the Galo de Barcelos originated), one of the most famous fairs in all of Portugal takes place. At the Barcelos Fair you can buy so many wonderful Portuguese souvenirs and products and that's exactly where I shot this photo a few years ago. Of course, I came home with a few things. :)

If you plan to visit Barcelos (located in Northern Portugal), a Thursday is definitely a great day of the week to visit!!
