Post of appreciation and consideration to all our clients, who are also Pilgrims, and who make the Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela from March to November.

The Way of Saint James routes have been followed by millions of pilgrims since the beginning of the 9th century. Since then, people from all over the world have walked the Caminos that lead to the cathedral where relics of the Holy Apostle are venerated, giving rise to a phenomenon that survives and gets stronger day by day.

Responsible tourism is one of those concepts that has been under the spotlight for a few years now. But its definition is not always clear.

The Cape Town Declaration, agreed upon in the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development and adopted by the World Travel Market, states that responsible tourism is about “making better places for people to live in and better places for people to visit.”
