CHANGES TO QUARANTINE RULES FOR LAND BORDER ARRIVALS.

Following the release of the new decree Order No. 5418-A / 2021 this order has change the circumstances for some nationals arriving at the Portuguese border with Spain.

People arriving from The Netherlands, Sweden, Croatia and Lithuania no longer are required to quarantine for 14 days. Travellers from South Africa, Brazil & India who arrive overland are required to Quarantine for 14 days from arriving at the border. They are also required to complete the SEF form at this link and hand it in within three days or arrival. https://travel.sef.pt/Forms/Default.aspx

There are now no restrictions on any people arriving from any EU/EEA countries as well as the UK for tourism reasons.

As with air travellers it is a requirement that all arrivals have the ability to show a negative PCR test if required.
