Not every day is Sintra day and when you want really off the beaten path trips and experiences most times it's not the travel blogs that will show you what lies beyond the crowds. Who would know you can get views like this just 45 min away from Lisbon, where almost all you see is vineyards? Wine is not just Douro Valley and Alentejo but many times it takes local knowledge to discover some places where one can eat very traditional food, taste local wine and enjoy a day where you will be the only tourists you see.

Another happy family after touring Portugal for a few days. Definitely one highlight of the trip is this wine tasting at one of the wineries in the Évora region.

A wonderful day in Nazaré with a couple of beautiful ladies from the UK. As always people came for the waves which were not huge but with some people in the water, and fell in love with everything else because Nazaré is so much more.

Not that we like to advertise this much, when we took the picture it was already half unloaded, but today we left a simbolic contribution to a nearby fire department, in Odivelas. A few boxes of water and some individual doses of liquid fruit and protein for those who are fighting the fires in Portugal. Fortunately it was very good to see that the shelves in the supermarket had almost no small waters (what they are requesting the most) and there were many more donations that they were handling when we delivered. As always, Portugal stands together.
