Semi-sub drilling rig Transocean Barents is due to arrive in Constanta harbor between the 15th and 20th of October 2024.
Preparations for Deepwater drilling into Romanian waters will follow shortly after arrival at DP World.
Transocean Drilling is the owner of the rig.
OMV Petrom will be the operator.
Oil & Gas Recruitment will supply highly skilled offshore Romanian personnel for the rig.

Neptun Deep project ready to kick-off in 2025:

- Agreement signed for Transocean Barents drilling rig
- OGR Romania nominated as the main labor provider for Transocean Barents
- Halliburton Romania to provide integrated drilling services
- Drilling planned to start in 2025; first gas in 2027

OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy company in Southeastern Europe, has continued to make significant progress in implementing Neptun Deep project.
The company has signed an agreement with an estimated value of EUR 325 mn for the semi-submersible drilling rig Transocean Barents for a minimum period of one and a half years. Moreover, a contract of approximately EUR 140mn was signed with Halliburton Romania for integrated drilling services.
These are in addition to the previously announced EUR 1.6 bn contract with Saipem for the offshore facilities, as well as other smaller contracts.

Requirements
Be permitted to work in the EU
6G welding certification
Seafarer Medical
Bosiet or STCW Basic Safety training


Start 08.12.2022 till 13.01.2023
Possibility for up to 30 weeks on a 4:4 week rotation.

NET Salary : 200 EUR / per day.

OGR is looking for experienced Electrical Technician with an excellent project management, commissioning & start-up and technical understanding to provide support initially to our Project and continue during Operational phase.
Experience & Qualifications :
· University studies completed in the electrical / electronic field
· Minimum 5 years experience in electrical maintenance installations for the oil and gas industry and the electrical and energy system
· ANRE certification
· Knowledge of the Electrical Norms regarding the design, ex*****on and operation of medium and low voltage electrical networks
· Ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional teams
· Valid BOSIET certification
· INSEMEX certification is a plus
· Knowledge of English
· Intermediate PC operating knowledge: Word, Excel
· Experience on offshore transfer from ship to platform
