I love old doors. This one is located on the street where Mircea Eliade was born. In his short stories character enter homes and spend hours în the house, but when they go outside again they realise it has been years. # Bucharest # mirceaeliade

In a Romanian fairytale the protagonist has to steal the salad from the bear's garden. Today I stole some garlic from the bear. What do you think I made. It looks like pesto. It is not. The winner gets a gift.

Casa Ceaușescu is located at no. 50 Primăverii Boulevard, Bucharest. It was the personal home of the Ceaușescu family.

I simply had to post this. A wonderful old photo colored by a pro. This photo is named Vlah. This is the name for Romanians before the modern state of Romania. It is an exonim = a name given by outsiders. In the native language people here did not call themselves vlachs. Thank you for your wonderful work.
