On August 22, the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 celebrated the National Flag Day, which was celebrated for the first time on August 22, 1994 by decree of the country's president. The Russian national flag, with its three colors "white, blue, and red", dates back to the seventeenth century AD, when Tsar Alexei Mikhailevich raised it on the first warship built in Russia in 1667 AD. After that, the emperor "Peter I" ordered the drawing of the golden double-headed eagle in the center of the flag. The tricolor flag 🇷🇺 symbolizes peace and serenity (white⚪️), faith and loyalty (blue🔵), courage and the blood of the defenders of the homeland (red🔴).

في 22 أغسطس ، احتفل الاتحاد الروسي 🇷🇺 بيوم العلم الوطني ، والذي تم الاحتفال به لأول مرة في 22 أغسطس 1994 بمرسوم من رئيس البلاد. يعود العلم الوطني الروسي بألوانه الثلاثة "الأبيض والأزرق والأحمر" إلى القرن السابع عشر الميلادي ، عندما رفعه القيصر أليكسي ميخائيلفيتش على أول سفينة حربية بنيت في روسيا عام 1667 م. بعد ذلك أمر الإمبراطور "بيتر الأول" برسم نسر ذهبي برأسين في وسط العلم. العلم ثلاثي الألوان 🇷🇺 يرمز إلى السلام والصفاء (أبيض⚪️) والإيمان والولاء (أزرق🔵) والشجاعة ودماء المدافعين عن الوطن (أحمر🔴).

فولجوجراد هي إحدى مدن روسيا تقع جنوب شرق الجزء الاوروبي من روسيا الاتحادية وتعتبر مركز إقليم فولجوجراد من المدن البطلة في الاتحاد السوفيتي وهي التي حدثت فيها معركة ستالينجراد الشهيرة في الحرب العالمية الثانية

At the end of March 2016 the Group of public diplomacy from Egypt visited Moscow. The group participants included such outstanding representatives of show business like Tarek Allam, Egyptian television presenter and actor, Sameh El Sereity, famous actor, as well as such representatives of political diplomacy as Ahmed El-Muslimani, Egyptian presidential media advisor in 2013, Ayman Moussa - head of the information Office and Advisor to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

On 15 February 2016 in Moscow within the walls of the National Research University Higher School of Economics the EAST STEP TRAVEL Company represented by General Director Mr. Mohammed Salah Selim addressed as active participant in the Conference "Russia - Egypt: the traditions, customs and tourism."

The conference was held with the participation of students of Moscow universities and student delegations from universities Arab Republic of Egypt (Cairo University and, Alexandria University, Ain Shams University, German University in Cairo).

The opening lecture on the history of Russian-Egyptian relations read the Ambassador of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed ElBadri. Also in the official part of the conference was attended by Advisor for Educational and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Atef Mohamed.


The conference contains in two parts:
1 – Round Table discussion about Russian-Egyptian relations
2 – Cultural Program

Federation of the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) organized the second Egyptian-Russian Forum on Monday on 1st February 2016 in Cairo in Egypt.

The Russian-Saudi Investment Exhibition and Forum took place in November 27 in Hotel Carlton Ritz with support of the Russian-Arab Business Council (RABC). The Forum was attended by representatives of the business and political establishment, and the ruling clans and investment circles of Saudi Arabia interested in strengthening cooperation with Russian business and official circles.

EAST STEP TRAVEL Company represented by General Director Mr. Mohammed Salah Selim in the framework of the meeting acted as an expert on the Russian side to discuss the travel Russian-Saudi relations.
In their speeches, high-ranking guests of the event pointed out, on the one hand, insufficient volume of trade and economic cooperation between two countries besides of the enormous opportunities for cooperation in the presence, and on the other hand, the firm intention to establish strong relationships with potential partners from the business communities of the two countries.

The key event of the day was the Business Forum, where businessmen were introduced to each other their work, exchanged contacts and information on doing business in the two countries. Discussion of pressing problems of business cooperation aroused great interest among Russian and Saudi side.

Trade and Industrial Dialogue Russia – Egypt

The EAST STEP TRAVEL was participated in the 1st Egypt-Russian Business Forum as organizer of this event. The meeting titled ‘Trade and Industrial Dialogue Russia – Egypt” took place at Cairo’s Mariott hotel in Zamalek. Russian and Egyptian ministers of trade and industry met in Cairo during a two-day investment forum on Monday and Tuesday.

“The forum, held under the auspices of the ministries of industry of both countries, is aimed at demonstrating the investment and export potential of Egypt and Russia as well as strengthening business contacts and expanding economic and trading cooperation between the two countries,” read the event’s press release.

Egyptian and Russian businessmen are also expected to discuss potential cooperation in aircraft engineering, shipbuilding, transport and agricultural engineering, petrochemical and nuclear industries, and other sectors.

The forum will be attended by some of Russia’s largest companies, including the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Vnesheconombank, Rostekhnologii, and others.

III St. Petersburg Tourism Forum took place, within the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. EAST STEP TRAVEL company was represented by General Director Mr. Mohammed Salah Selim and took active part in this significant event where were discussing the incoming tourism developing strategy for the upcoming three years.

From 14 to 16 December in St. Petersburg was hosted the biggest event in the history of a cultural Forum devoted to the 70th anniversary of UNESCO. It gathered more than
11 000 participants at 82 venues in the city.
