The Arseniy Morozov mansion is a unique work of Russian architect- Victor Mazirin.

It is located in center of Moscow-Vozdvizhenka street 16.

It was built in 1895 for the 25-years old millionaire Arseniy Morozov on the land presented by his mother- Varvara.

In search of inspiration they went on a journey to Portugal and were impressed there by the Pena Palace, in Sintra.

The mansion was quite different from the other buildings of that period and was ridiculed by the others.

Arseny’s mother said: “ Only I used to know that you are a fool, now the whole Moscow will know it!”

♥️Even now it looks unusual and attracts the passersby.
