Cats watching the world art masterpieces ? 🐈
In the main museum of St. Petersburg, the Hermitage, there are unusual guards of the art galleries constantly living there:
50 cats which remove rats and mice from the basement of the Winter Palace 🐭
⠀
It is believed that it was Peter the Great to bring a cat to the palace first. Throughout the 18th century, moustached guards used to watch the safety of the building spoiled by the hordes of rodents. Since then, cats have taken root in the new place without ever leaving it again.⠀
⚡️Now every animal has a passport, a veterinary card and is an official employee of the museum 🛡
Hermitage cats are real stars 😂, which are photographed not less often than Rembrandt.
⠀
In March 2016 the British Telegraph included them to the list of attractions in St. Petersburg ⚡️

Moscow has celebrated its 781st birthday!
🎉
Festive concerts and master classes for children and adults were held throughout the city on 8 & 9 September 2018
🎠
The most popular places during the holiday were Tverskaya and Mokhovaya streets, that were turned into a pedestrian area.
Street musicians 🎷and dancers of different styles and directions entertained Muscovites and guests of the capital.
And of course, one of the biggest gifts to the Russian capital was beautiful +24 degree sunny weather! ☀️
