Located in the North East of Rwanda along the border with Tanzania, the Akagera National Park is a true haven for wildlife with typical savannah landscapes of acacia woods and open grasslands, many lakes, papyrus swamps and marshes. Visitors can see an array of stunning birds around the park’s numerous waterways, and many animals including zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and giraffes roaming across the park. Also, let us not forget one of Akagera’s most impressive residents; the lions!

We believe that Kigali has so much more to offer than just its dark past, and we are here to show you its beauty and essence. The city, which has been rated as one of Africa’s most liveable cities, is incredibly green, safe and clean. It sprawls over beautiful hills which can only add to its aesthetic allure. Views are breathtaking, and there is a wide range of things to experience such as wandering around contemporary art galleries, shopping ‘Made in Rwanda’, trying mouth-watering cuisines, experiencing the night scene, walking around the popular and vibrant neighbourhood of Nyamirambo, visiting the genocide memorial and the presidential palace, and much more.

Tell us about your passions and interests, and we will carefully design a unique Kigali city tour just for you!

Have you even wondered what it feels like to come face to face with the impressive mountain gorilla in one of Rwanda’s key conservation sites? The Volcanoes National Park is one of the world’s last sanctuaries where you can find these majestic but also endangered primates. The drive to the park takes two hours from Kigali which makes it possible to do gorilla trekking as part of a day trip. However, since we are required to arrive there by 7AM, it is advisable to spend a night there the day before.

You can also combine your gorilla experience with golden monkey trekking, a Musanze cave tour, Karisimbi or Bisoke volcano hikes, a visit to the famous Dian Fossey Tomb and to the Twin Lakes.

Join us on one of our favourite trips for a once in a lifetime gorilla trekking experience!

In need of some beach time? Look no further. Rwanda’s Lake Kivu is the perfect chill-out spot. The lake offers opportunities for water sports, boat rides, swimming, traditional and sport fishing trips, sun tanning, relaxation and more. You can choose between Gisenyi or Kibuye. The former is a bigger town with beautiful sandy beaches, many restaurants, hotels, and a vibrant nightlife. The latter is a sleepy town up in the hills with stunning lake views and swimming cows. Yes, cows can swim and you can follow them from one little island to another where they go for grazing!

Whether you choose the happening spot, the quiet town, or both, we can take you there and ensure an experience which lives up to your dreams!

Nyanza was the capital of the Kingdom of Rwanda before independence in 1962. Today, visitors can explore the fascinating King’s Palace which has become a museum home to the magnificent Inyambo; Rwanda’s royal cattle. These stunning cows are like no others. They are of high historical and cultural importance, they have impressive horns and they respond to their keeper’s songs. Rwanda’s National Art Gallery is also worth a visit. It showcases contemporary art in what would have served as King Mutara III Rudahingwa’s palace had he lived long enough.

It is also possible to combine a visit to Nyanza with a Gatagara pottery experience or with a visit to the National Museum located in Huye. This comprehensive and informative ethnographic museum covers Rwanda’s distant to recent history, and is certainly one of a kind in the region.

Let us show you the fascinating cultural heart of Rwanda!
